Soldier Accounted For From Korean War (Dobbins, H.)

WASHINGTON  –  

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced today that Army Cpl. Harry R. Dobbins, 19, killed during the Korean War, was accounted for March 3, 2026.

In the summer of 1950, Dobbins was a member of Company C, 1st Battalion, 34th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division. He was reported missing in action on July 20 while fighting North Korean forces in the in the vicinity of Taejon, South Korea. He was not recovered following the war.

This is an initial release. The complete accounting of Dobbins’ case will be published once his family receives a full briefing.
