The ceremony marked the end of the joint field activity and this iteration’s efforts to recover unaccounted-for personnel from the Vietnam War. During the ceremony, DPAA team members and Socialist Republic of Vietnam officials transferred possible remains to DPAA for potential identification at the DPAA laboratory on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
