Kelly McKeague is sworn in by Michael Rhodes, OSD Director of Administration and Management, as the new Director of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in a ceremony at the Pentagon, Sept. 5, 2017. McKeague, who retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2015 as a major general, served as the DPAA Deputy Director and as the commander of the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, one of the entities merged in 2015 to form the department's newest defense agency. DPAA's mission is to provide the fullest possible accounting of our missing personnel to their families and the nation.
