U.S. Marines Staff Sgt. Pedro Hernandez, an explosive ordnance disposal technician with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, explains the role EOD technicians play in the recovery of missing in action personal from our nation's past conflicts to participants of the Department of Defense's Executive Leadership Development Program during a visit to JPAC headquarters on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Dec. 6. As part of the ELDP visit, participants toured JPAC's Central Identification Laboratory and learned about the various roles and responsibilities held by JPAC team members while deployed to a recovery site.
