LANSDALE –
A local landmark could have a new look as soon as the end of next month, to honor a local resident who gave his life for his country more than half a century ago.
Borough Manager John Ernst reported this week that staff are working on updating a marker in Memorial Park to reflect the name of a local man recently found to have been killed in the Korean War.
"Last year, it came to our attention that the remains of someone that was connected with Lansdale, were returned to the United States, from the Korean War," said Ernst.
