Boy Scouts place flags on unknown graves
Alana Oishi-Agader and Alex Oishi-Agader, scouts from Troop 264 and Troop 664, Mililani, Hawaii, placed an American flag on the grave of an unknown service member at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific -Punchbowl in Honolulu. Their act embodies the spirit of Memorial Day. On this solemn federal holiday, we honor and mourn the brave U.S. military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the Armed Forces. We remember all unaccounted-for service members and DoD civilians/contractors, ensuring they will never be forgotten. This Memorial Day, reflect on our fallen heroes' courage, dedication, and selflessness. Together, we ensure their legacies live on. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Senior Airman Cole Yardley)
